我的甜点进行时(2)

每星期我给公司员工做一次甜点,的确不是我的DUTY,而是我的PRIVILEGE。我感到自己很幸运有这样的PRIVILEGE。。。

第五星期,我选一个有水果的甜点:RAISIN APPLE CRISP

8 c. sliced peeled apples (I use 8 tart apples)
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. whole wheat flower
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3/4 c. butter, softened

Spread apple slices and rasins evenly in greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in bowl. Blend in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over fruit; press lightly. Beke at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until topping is crisp. Yield: 12 servings.

注:烤的时间稍微长了,CRISP有些太焦,下次改进。

第六星期,我结合上星期做CRISP的经验,再做一次CRSIP。不过这次是我自己的RECIPE,自己起名:ASSORTED FRUIT CRISP



8+ apples, pears and orages (see picture)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking power
1/2 c cold butter, cubed

Spread peeled and sliced fruits evenly in 9x13-inch baking dish. sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over fruits. Combine brown sugar, flour, baking power in bowl. Blend in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over fruit; press lightly. Beke at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes or until topping is golden brown and fruit is tender. Yield: 12 servings.

这次做法和上次的一样,只是减少了SUGAR和BUTTER的量,并且注意BAKING的时间。



注:这个RECIPE做出来的很好吃,甜度适中。但不应放ORANGES。ORANGES不适合BAKING。烤过的ORANGE味道有些发苦。下次只用APPLE和PEAR。
