I just got back from Peking University 117th Anniversary Gala and Banquet hosted by Peking University Alumni Association-Houston. Beijing Medical University was an independent university when I was at school. However, it merged with Peking University in 2000 and is now named as Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC). Delegates from PKUHSC led by Dr. Weigang Fang came to US to attend a conference this week. Dr. Fang and several other delegates from PKUHSC were guest speakers at the banquet tonight. It was wonderful to know how well PKUHSC is doing.
