Min and I went to see the movie “Lincoln” last Saturday. Actor Daniel Day-Lewis interpreted very well about President Lincoln’s determination to end slavery, his agony over the Civil War, his torment over the loss of his beloved son Willie, and his loneliness in marital life. However, no one can really portray President Lincoln’s solemnity and nobility.
The movie reminded me of my visit to the Lincoln Memorial when I attended a conference in Washington DC last November. Here are a couple of photos taken on that trip and a few sentences that I wrote about the visit on Nov 30, 2012.
