我们的现代文明，是以电视为特征的。电视主宰了我们的生活。人人都患了电视上瘾症。天天一进家门，第一件事就是熟捻地摸起遥控，电视的噪呱马上充满房屋。

不看电视可以吗？好像挺难的。孩子们花在看电视的时间好像比上课时间还多。难怪那个罗达尔在1964年写的"查理和巧克力工厂"就描述电视对孩子的危害：

TV rots the senses in the head!

It kills the imagination dead!

It clogs and clutters up the mind!

It makes a child so dull and blind.

He can no longer understand a fantasy,

A fairyland!

His brain becomes as soft as cheese!

His powers of thinking rust and freeze!
