《Girl in the Rain》 In the corner of the world love washes over your indigo mountains & seascape echoing your heart’s beating your laughter darting water’s surface I remember your playfulness when we parked to watch you used to put your sockless feet on the wheel when rain falling --- soft pearls splattering the thin roof of the small Fiat Jazz & kisses Time stopped and we no longer knew where we were or even this borrowed l-a-n-g-u-a-g-e flowing out of our mouths and through car window disappearing & mixing w/the timeless rain-song What is it that makes the word-birds fly so beautifully strange as if love breaks the box and fills all that rain-colored space beyond our sky? How much happiness do we know? How much rain can the soul contain?
