电脑用的时间长了，就会越来越慢，近来慢得像老牛拖车，下决心清理，下面这些步骤还真管用，果然速度快了许多，总结一下并分享，我用的是PC window 7。
1) 电脑power on 后，要花很长时间才能打开window。
电脑桌面desktop里，icon少些，如果有些files非要放在desktop而不是别的 drive里的话，尽量把散乱的files 归入相应的folder。电脑启动时，desktop的files都要run一下的，所以desktop东西越少越好，同一类文件放folder 比一个个单独放在desktop启动速度会快些。
然后do these steps：Start / Run / type “msconfig”
Choose “start up”tab / uncheck those you do not want them to run when you turn on your computer。
看看我的电脑里不知道什么时候这么多的programs都打上了勾，我并没有打勾啊，所以电脑一开，都在run这些，启动就慢S了，把勾都去掉，留下要run的，启动速度就快了很多。
2）从某天起，不管用IE还是Chrome，都有3，4个讨厌的广告出来晃，电脑速度很慢，仔细看后，叫什么browse smart，一定是在internet流览时不小心点了什么就偷偷装上了computer，如果是这样的话，就在电脑里找到这个virus。。。
start / control panel / Program and Features / 在Uninstall or change a program 里找到了browse smart，然后uninstall，就没了pop out的广告了。
第二个找到的是Sendori，这是个Malware，我也在“Uninstall or change a program”里remove了。
还找到这个“weDownload Manager” adware，也uninstall了，这个也是Malware。
3）电脑的hard drive free space 越来越少了。这时需要delete all the temp files
Start / Run / type “%temp%” （用shift 5 打 % ）
Enter 后出来下面这个，“control A” to select all ， 然后delete （if there are some files not let you to delete，就skip好了。）
我删去了几个GB，free了很多的space。
4）再uncheck some files
在Start处的“Search programs and files”里，打“windows features”
a）如果你不玩game的，去掉Games这里的check mark
b）Tablet PC Components 的check mark 也去掉，其他的原来怎样就怎样。
c）在Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5.1这里都打勾。
5）再删除一些files
Start / Run / type “Prefetch”
Enter后出来的files，用“control A”to select all，然后delete all。
如果有的无法delete，就skip。
做了这些步骤后，电脑速度快多了，很高兴啊。
在C：drive里，right mouse click，choose properties/ general tab 查看到free space多出了不少。在这里还可以click “Disk Cleanup”/ check all the boxes and delete them all。
6）当然还要run virus scanner，抓住4个木马杀了。
7）也想restore the computer to a prior date to get rid off the malware。But I got the message saying, restore not successful and suggest me to turn off virus scanner 再run，我就回去做了上面的步骤，结果问题都解决了，不需要restore了。Restore 在window 7里的path是：
Start / Control Panel / Backup and Restore / Recover system settings or your computer / Open system restore / Next / …
8）在清理电脑时，我check disk，结果电脑run了几个小时，以后这个要在有足够的时间做。还不清楚这个起多大的作用。这个path是：
在C：drive，right mouse click，choose properties/ Tools / 我不小心点了 Error Checking的check now 结果电脑run了几个小时。中间不能停的，上当了。
9）在internet explorer里：
Tool/ Pop-up Blocker / Pop-up Blocker Settings / 在底部选 high，然后再一个个网站手动allow always或者allow once，这样最安全。但是太麻烦了，选medium比较好。
10）在C：drive的这个path，也有很多的files需删掉。
C：/ Users / your name / 下面有My Music，My Pictures，My Videos folders，有时download things，不知存到哪里了，于是就再save，然后choose 自己要的path，结果电脑里其实有了两份，这里删掉了多年来存下的files，结果也有几个GB了。
11）empty recycle bin别忘了这一步，真正把不要的东西彻底从电脑里去掉。
