Sofronitsky plays Chopin Nocturne in Op. 9, No. 2 His interpretation injects luminosity into the often cliched drill. He does not indulge in the dreamness, instead brings the wonder out under the broad daylight. His sonority, sense of spacing give this piece a new life that we didnt know about.
