1. The drama keeps on and on... love this story very much! Jacob, who is blamed by my fellow bible readers 蓑笠翁 and 寒江雪 (I love their IDs by the way, so poetic) for stealing Esau's blessings and birthright, saw heaven's gate in his dream. From what he did afterwards, I think he had fear and respect for God. He paid his price for marrying Leah because of, very ironic here, BIRTHRIGHT. :) He worked hard for 14 years to finally get married to Rachel. Then after another seven years of hard work, he started to go back home to face his brother, who wanted to kill him.......... Can't wait to see what will happen.
2. I was touched by the painting of the woman trying her best in order to only *touch* Jesus' cloak. What strong faith and strong will!
3. It takes a lot to really trust the LORD for protection. Yes, indeed!
4. "because the LORD disciplines those he loves" -- one of my favorite Bible verses. I can't imagine where I'd be without this verse.
