I found another trader that have great past performance and open an account with him late August.
Here is what the trader published BEFORE 40% fee: 10/06 4.57% 09//06 9.42% 08/06 -4.14% 07/06 6.94% 06/06 9.35% 05/06 48.99% 04/06 11.61% 03/06 14.11% 02/06 10.87% 01/06 4.90% 12/05 6.07% 11/05 6.43% 10/05 9.35% 9/05 4.44% 8/05 6.35% 7/05 12.99% 6/05 11.95% 5/05 7.15% 4/05 3.68% 3/05 12.12% 2/05 13.65% 1/05 14.30% However, in my experience, the actual return is higher than published. For example, Sept 06 return in my account is 29.5% before fees, vs. 9.4% published by the trader, and Oct 06 14% in my account vs 4.57% published by the trader. The reason is that he used less leverage in his model account than actual client accounts.
My account performance: September 06: 29.5% (gross) October 06: 14% (gross)
Update Nov 11: Closed two profitable trades in Nov so far. My $5K account is now almost $7K. Very happy with the results so far.
Update Nov 17: Closed a few more trades with small gains this week, about 4% additional gain total. Equity up to $7274.
