March in Haiku

This year's spring seems arriving not only timidly but also obscuring, say it the best. For instance, The temperatures within days can oscillate in very wide ranges: one day we would have 30s degrees and then next day it would spike to 60s before plummeting to freeze point again. As a direct result, the lives of dwellers in this city have become increasingly complicated, even the long-waited spring blossoms are still hiding in the shadows  somehow. But, how can we blame these plants as they are just the"victims" of the two battling seasons.

Maybe our lives are just like this estranged weather transitional patterns:subconsciously no one wants to let something or someone in our past go without the struggles.

To describe rather belated and "troubled" spring, I wrote two Haiku.

Ripples disturb peace
Seasons duel for holding ground
Still chillness lingers

Seeing my own breath
I hailed a dashing yellow cab
paid fare in spring sun
